First / oldest statue or bust from DC?

2018-05-11 Edit: Random Googling led to this thread, which is "hidden" or "archived" -- http://www.statueforum.com/showthread.php?t=95340

That thread led me to this site -- http://www.raumhafen.de/start.html

and these pages --
Graphitti Designs, http://www.raumhafen.de/cgi-bin/dbma...records=Search

DC Direct, http://www.raumhafen.de/cgi-bin/dbma...records=Search

I'm going to assume that the Graphitti Designs statues are indeed the earliest DC statues.

--------------------------------------------------

I was wondering if anyone knows what the first DC statue or bust is?

Back in the early 1990s, the collectibles division didn't even call itself DC Direct. The info on the product box simply states that the statue was made for DC Comics.

This is what I've found:

1991 Sandman by Randy Bowen. A mini version was released in 1996. A bronze version was released in 1998.

1992 Batman by Randy Bowen. A mini version was released in 1996. A bronze version was released in 1996.

1992 Lobo by Randy Bowen. A mini version was released in 1997.

1993 Death by Randy Bowen. A mini version was released in 1997.

1993 Superman by Randy Bowen. A mini version was released in 1998.

1994 Tim Drake Robin by Randy Bowen. A mini version was released in 1997.

1994 Sandman Arabian Nights by Randy Bowen. A mini version was released in 1998.

This Wonder Woman statue is from 1995 (sculpted by Joe DeVito). Things sure have changed when you look at how the statue was packaged, lol.

1995 Joker (sculpted by William Paquet).

1995 Wally West Flash

1996 Sandman Bookends. A mini version was released in 2000.

1996 The Dark Knight Strikes Again! (Batman with Carrie Kelly Robin)

1997 Batgirl (Barbara Gordon). A mini version was released in 1999.

I know the Jack Knight Starman, Green Lantern Trio and Golden Age Flash were made early on. Not sure of the years though.

Thanks, I'll research these, though anything with the DC Direct logo is gonna be newer than any of these early-/mid-1990s statues.

I’ve got the Batman, Superman and Joker statues. For sure, Batman and Superman are Graphitti Designs, don’t think Joker is, though.

I cut off the list with the 1997 Batgirl because DC Direct was launched in 1998. I also split the list into Bowen statues and non-Bowen statues. I guess that means the non-Bowen statues are also non-Graphitti Designs (at least based on pictures of the product boxes that I can find on the Internet).
