I did just pick up my second Detolf--seeing everyone else's displays is certainly setting the bar up there!

The next set of pictures I took outdoors, though, to take advantage of the natural light. Plus, Sonja is used to traipsing around outside in, like, nature. On picnic tables. In suburbia.

More Sonja (I've been waiting for this one for a while).

And the last four pics...

I'm pretty happy with her (although I wouldn't mind some Frank Cho counteracting the Campbell influence in the waist area). I do like the base. She is on the small side for the money, however--but she is my freaking avatar, after all. One of these days, I'll go for the Hard Hero.

I've got quite a few Red Sonja statues (I'm a fan, sue me ) - the fullsize Turner, the original Paolo Rivera release, the Silvestri, the Dell'otto mini bust, and the small scale Linsner one, but I have to say the Hard Hero statue is my personal favourite, and in my mind the best of the lot. Definitely worth picking up if you're a fan.

Indeed! Still wish there'd been that Rose McGowan Sonja film. (And Whedon's Wonder Woman, while we're at it. Although Diana's less with the death.)

My semester's starting tomorrow, but I think I need to find the time to sell off a few pieces to finance the Hard Hero. Priorities! (Where's the "greed" smiley?)
