I could gripe about a bunch of things I think are overpriced.

I think this is it right here - if you're sick of the fees - don't sell on ebay - then they can't "rip you off"

Have you ever imagined a world with no hypothetical situations?

I sell in volume and really don't sit down and try to figure it all out, but I bet if I did I'd find eBaY doing a little stealing.

It's gonna especially suck when the gov't starts taxing people on sales in 2011.

For now though I just sell, make bank, and don't look back or try to analyze the charges.
WHAT?! I guess I better sell everything now.

Seriously. Paypal's +.30 is what gets me. You pay probably more than 12% at this point if you don't catch the free insertion listings they do from time to time.

Ebay is still the best show in town. My basement would still be filled with BD stuff without it. I have made thousands of dollars over the past year or so. While the situation isn't ideal, it is way better than nothing. There is no way I could have moved all those BD pieces without it.

.
This is only if you are over a certain amount, right? Every seller is not going to get taxed.

I was so close to buying that RULK when I saw you listed it too TK!

I decided to take the year off of eBay in both selling and buying. A series of bad transactions and the fees just left a bad taste in my mouth. I think the market is ripe for an alternative...but eBay is the Wal-Mart of auction sites....they are so big now they cannot be stopped.

Craigslist has more and more deals to be had if you take the time to search different cities. Many sellers are more than willing to ship. But eBay is still king.
