Looks like it is. Gothamite's icon has disappeared from my friends list.
Maybe admins had their reasons, and I can't say I've read ALL of Gothie's posts, but overall I don't believe I ever read anything objectionable. They always seemed civil and informative to me.

Hopefully just temporary. I know politics is a big NO-NO and is a cause for being banned. Even then, I don’t think he was necessarily posting truly political comments; seemed to me like he was skirting the line. No foul IMHO or at most just a warning. Shame on the admins if hems really gone for good.

Gothamite is one of the best members here and he actually helped me times with forum rules to avoid being banned. Very sad if he will never be back.

My guess would be Gothamite complained about the new YouTube rule and a mod overreacted. If that's the case, I think my time here is over too.

Funny thing is that he was considering leaving the forum a whiles back and he reconsidered. This is really weird, because he is one of the biggest positive contributors on here. Always full of useful information.
