Paint recommendation

Hey all,

I have a Bowen Spiderman 1960's statue (example http://mrgreenscomics.com/catalog/im...ing_Statue.jpg)

I just found a spot near the bottom of the base where the paint has bubbled up and chipped off. It's a small area along the black portion of the base, but noticeable enough since it's near the front corner (about half the size of a dime).

It looks like some sort of flat black would do the trick. Any recommendations on what specific brand of paint and how to apply? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Most likely you will need to sand/putty the faulting paint area to level it out for a smooth look. Then using Badger Freak Flex Body Bag Black, paint the entire rim of the base for an even black coat. Seal it up with some Testors Dullcote and you should be good to go.
