WL and “sold out” are two very different things. Was the reg ever listed as “sold out” on SS website?

Yes it was listed as sold out. A SF member confirmed with a SS rep that the sell out was legit too.

My guess would be that they allocated a certain amount of batches to replacements, due to the high number of breakages. However, as replacements showed less problems, they might have opened up some of those again for regular sales.

It was never listed as sold out for the reg. Only WL.

thanks for confirming, this really is a great piece. Given the ES size there may be a new batch that is coming in, but it could also be that the entire run is spoke for but WL orders can still convert as people cancel. Either way I don't see any harm in jumping on the WL for those who want this piece.
