I'm more worried about minor earthquakes here. One shake and everything comes down.

Wow, that sucks. Has to be someone that knows the house and/or neighborhood well you'd think.

Have you ever imagined a world with no hypothetical situations?

I can't see this being one guy ether, how many pieces could one person grab before running out to a car/truck...two at most?

Whoever it was definitely had help. Hate to say, but if you live in a bungalow or smaller home with that sort of money sitting in it you run this sort of risk.

My house has security cameras everywhere that alert me to movement around the home. I can access them from my cell phone anytime also. My collection is also kept on the upper level behind doors which are always locked. Adding to that most of my collection are huge pieces which a single person would not have an easy time moving, then navigating back through the house to an exit. Cops would be there before they made away with much. Further it's a gated community, even if they did get out of the house with my stuff they aren't getting out of the area easily.

These are things people should consider before dropping huge coin on starting a collection.

Hope they find the punks that did this though.

Chris

Yes must be someone who knows he owns those. I mean what random guy would steal collectibles over TV, computers, etc. the thief knew what he wanted. They also knew his security well to weave around it.

Over time he may do it. Maybe in years or just sell them on the streets to other collectors who didn't see the news. Who would know?
