Yeah it's likely PU leather which I am fine with, they mention it as as "a leather-like red jacket".
The whole Cyberpunk look (which I love) including the original concept art is pretty much evoking a homage to Akira. So I won't pass on it. Most US retailers have a slight markup especially for the DX version with base, so buying it direct from Shumi including shipping works out to be lower.
