Just received my replacement Ex.
My first statue was part of Sideshow's initial shipment, and boy was it was chock full of issues. Sadly, the new one isn't quite up to snuff either-- noticeable scratches, large portions of the tendrils are a milky grey, and the Ex hand doesn't fully connect and detaches after a little while. To boot, the thing reeked of cigarette smoke when I opened the box.
Really do love the sculpt, so I'll probably give it another go to see if I can get a replacement. Still, it's a bit concerning to see the same type of QC issues crop up repeatedly.
