There you have it. : )
Now, if they would release their T-2 in 1/4, too...

Yeah, I asked them about that and they told me that the bike one is 1/4 scale... but it is way too much. They said their license has limits so no 1/4 for their latest Terminator

I've been looking for a simple 1:4 scale Superman statue for a while now but nothing currently available out there impresses me. Ideally, it would be based on the drawings of Alex Ross. Unfortunately, no manufacturer seems to be interested in doing one, for some reason. The one from Sideshow back in 2013 is the closest to what I have in mind but not quite close enough. This movie-based piece would be a good alternative if only it had a better likeness of Christopher Reeve.
Some guy has done a 3D rendering of a Superman statue in the style of Alex Ross. It would be perfect if some manufacturers like Tweeterhead or Sideshow would pick it up and mass produce it.

Oh wow ...that's a nice rendering of a Ross Superman.
Perhaps Alex Ross is too expensive for Sideshow to collaborate with?

I don't know how the licensing agreement works in the industry but I suspect it is the case. I will settle for something similar if not exactly the style of Alex Ross. I prefer the slightly more realistic look.

Some talented guy has done this bust in Alex Ross style. This is exactly what I want in a Superman statue. Is it too much to ask?

Joke aside, it's not the matter of size. It is how natural the muscles should look. Personally I quite dislike the overly exaggerated body-builder look on a Superman statue. I know he is Superman but still he doesn't really need to be a super body-builder to be super powerful. There is a distinct difference between being strong and being excessive. I guess that's why I still can't find one Superman statue to this day that I'd really like to collect. It's quite disappointing.
