While these don't have any direct competitors, they are among my favorite DST statues and busts.

Several of the Rogues Gallery pieces are nicer than BD IMO -- Kraven, Mysterio and Lizard come to mind. I've bid on Electro a couple of times, but I keep getting sniped. The problem is the scale doesn't match BD's. Had these been in scale, they would definitely be on display and the others either left on the shelves or packed up in the office. The DST Astonishing line was going well, except the out of scale Emma, which is stil a great bust.

But they have also has some major stinkers -- The Ultimate X-Men were blech, the Ultimates had nice sculpts, but inconsistent in scale. It'd be great if they could stop overlapping BD and go their own way, that'd be better. If they just picked teams, developed them well, and kept them in scale, I'd be more than happy to buy.

Here's one case where the DST bust didn't receive enough credit.

(I'm aware of the missing sideburns, but Andy was kind enough to offer me a signed replacement. )

Cloak & Dagger and Emma are both great pieces.

this has to stop, people have to realize that it's ok to like even love bowen or the other companies, but you can not trash the awsome work that is done by dst and others, your loyalties should lay with yourself, stop acting like companies are doing us a favor by producing stuff, is a business transaction you make something i like, i buy it, i don't mean any disrespect to any of the companies, sculptors ect... when i see something that i like i praise it just like anybody else from any company, this is directed to the collectors, we have put a stop to this close minded ideals.
a closed mind is the base to all the mayor problems in the world , such as racesism, religion, politics, ect... ect...

That cloak and dagger rocks! And ghost rider for sure!

I forgot about Thanos. If I get one it has to be DST now!

I agree (especially on the retro versions). I prefer the DS Thanos over the BD one as well due to the paint scheme. Up until BD's new Green Goblin FS, the DS Milestone statue was tops over the BD midsize (?) Goblin but now I'm waiting to see the new BD before deciding anything.

I think alot of it has to do with DS's hit or miss record. Some pieces are just dead on while others are well... dead off. The inconsistent scale is also what throws off the line a bit as well (for me anyway).

I have them both and dst is my favorite hands down.
Here`s a pic I found.
