Just got this statue, but the paint isnt that good.

Hi All,

i just got this statue and i think the paintjob isnt that great. does anyone have this statue and confirm that the paintjob is like this for them to.

What is the sculpt of? Or more so Who?

this is from japanese manga named Berserk. its an awsome series. they actualy have an anime series of only 25 episodes. the rest of the story you'll have to read the manga. i think the horse could have been done better.

I just checked out the Art of War Website and Berserk Statues.com and it says it is a pre-paint kit!

Did you just by the kit or have someone paint it for you?

Here are the pics they had on Beserk.com of the finished piece!

Here is what the webmaster of Berserk.com wrote about it.

"Although this is not actually a statue (it's a kit), I put it in this section
because it's made by Art of War and it belongs with the rest of its counterparts.
It's unfortunate that AOW never released this sculpt as a pre-painted statue, but
if given to the right painter, the kit has the potential of looking even better."

they first made non painted kist limited to 100 peices.

then came out with painted limited to 300. mine is serial # 274
