Also I'm not sure why they're specifically looking for a female director. The gender of the director really has got nothing to do with the quality of the resulting movie.
When they state it like that it comes across as trying to score public relation points and trying to convince women to go see it via advertising it as a female directed movie.
I would rather they simply chose a female director based on her being the best available director for the movie.
