I went to a general store. They wouldn't let me buy anything specifically.

Justice League - Dark 6/10
- Nice to see all the new characters but the story was rather dull.

The LEGO Batman movie. 6/10
It was ok, and I enjoyed parts of it. Just wasn't really great for me either.

One False Move - 8.5/10
In honor of the late Bill Paxton I watched what I feel was his strongest starring role in his career. The film itself is an underrated gem. A brutal suspense thriller that pulls no punches and has an emotional impact. It isn't your typical crime drama in that it's an interesting character study that documents both sides in great detail. A young Billy Bob Thornton delivers one of his most chilling and raw performances in his career. I never understood why this film flew under the radar like it did given how great it is. It's a crime in and of itself that this isn't available on Blu-ray but thankfully I was able to find it in HD On Demand the day of Paxton's passing. If you're a fan of his I highly recommend searching this out. You can thank me later.

Ma vie de Courgette / My Life as a Zucchini (2016) - After his mother disappears, a young boy is sent to a foster home with other orphans his age where he begins to learn the meaning of trust and true love.
It's really geared more toward older kids and adults like the running joke about how children think babies are made, haha. 8/10

Tanna (2015) - Set on a remote Pacific island, covered in rain forest and dominated by an active volcano, this heartfelt story, enacted by the Yakel tribe, tells of a sister's loyalty, a forbidden love affair and the pact between the old ways and the new.
It's remarkable that the cast was all non-actor natives, most of whom played themselves. 7/10
