The Abyss - 8/10
It's been a while since I've revisited The Abyss, mostly due to the fact that it hasn't been released on BD yet, which is a travesty. Few films deserve the HD treatment more than this. Luckily I caught an HD presentation on cable but unfortunately it wasn't the superior Director's Cut which I'd rate higher as it adds so much weight to the film. All in all the theatrical cut is still great and it was a joy to finally see it in HD.

Cool Runnings - 6.5/10
- Fun for the kids, but goodness, many movies from the 80s have not weathered the test of time well...

Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens 7/10
I rewatched it for the second time cause of the new The Last Jedi teaser trailer and i liked it better this time around. But The power of Mary Sue was so strong with Rey so that's why the film doesn't get an 8.

Vikingdom (2013) 7/10 -
Cheesy, Viking B-movie goodness I can never stop watching when it airs annually on tv. Schlocky, violent & fun.

Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes. That way, when you criticize them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes.
