Same reaction. I too took my 13 year old & he loved it too.

The Martian: 10/10

Yes, it is that freaking great! When there is suspense, you are on the edge of your seat. When there is comedy you will probably be chuckling to yourself. There is never a dull moment in the movie; it flows and keep you hooked and pondering what will Mark and mission control do next. I also like how despite the undeniable gravity of the situation, they manage to weave in some fun. Ridley and the crew did a great job on the film. Also, disco never died. It's well and alive.

I went to a general store. They wouldn't let me buy anything specifically.

Yes, they both just came out. Picture quality isn't perfect but the first one especially is really old now

Love the movie but I can't bring myself to buy the new blu-ray because its missing the original streamline dub.

The Iron Giant: Signature Edition - 10/10

Got a chance to see this with my kids at the theater earlier today. As always it was phenomenal. The remastered picture, sound and the inclusion of two new scenes was so awesome to see on the big screen. My kids are 2 1/2 and 5 and I am happy to report they sat through the whole thing and ultimately loved it. Now I just have to find some time to get my Kevin Tong print to the framer.
