I went to a general store. They wouldn't let me buy anything specifically.

I'm disappointed in the way this poll is going, as well, although I'll hold off on my rant until I see what ends up happening.

IMO, a BTAS or more modern style shouldn't have even been on the table, but I get that Chad is in a predicament with this one given that the 80s version will be lucky to sell as well as Mxyzptlk. He didn't really seem to care when it came to Supergirl, though. That one stayed in the era that seems to be the inspiration for most of this line, despite there being no shot it would be as popular as any of the more modern versions. If he went by a poll for that one, it never would've been made (and I know most around here would say "good"... as well as I think it turned out, I guess I'd be one of them, too!).

I know Chad didn't want to limit himself by using strictly Super Powers designs, but I agree that a BTAS-inspired costume would look too aggressively modern when displayed next to the others. Fans of the contemporary style should just get one of the Arkham statues or wait for an honest-to-goodness BTAS statue.

For me even though I'm of an age to have had the super powers line as a kid Mr. Freeze wasn't a thing until BTAS. I know I'm a filthy casual. That being said. I would buy him in say Sideshows statue line that pays homage to BTAS. I say this to make 2 points about the difficult position Chad is in. The Super Powers Mr. Freeze doesn't scream Mr. Freeze to me so I would more than likely never buy it on the other Hand BTAS I would buy but it could look way out of place in this line. I actually find the 1979 costume interesting surprisingly.

Maybe make a BTAS Freeze statue but not label it as part of the Super Powers line?

Could be worse, they could be making Killer Moth.

Didn’t know he was a BG villain. I imagine someone would probably buy him though.

Because of the Batgirl: Year One story, I always tend to think of him as one of her rogues.
