Ordering GG maquettes?

Need some help.

Was going to preorder the animated Star Wars maquettes as well as the Disney Dragonkind Statues through my local shop. Using Diamond Distributor information the shop was able to place the order for the Disney ones however they were not able find any information for the animated line yet. Though this months Diamond Distributor magazine did have an advertisment for the Stormtrooper maquette it was not available for order yet.

I also looked online but other than online stores taking preorders no online Dimaond Distributor info. Have they just not showed up yet for preorder or am I missing something?

I am assuming that the online retailers are just taking orders in anticipation for when the items become available through the distributor, hence my local shops problem.

I apoligize if the question sounds dumn but in the past I had only ordered maquettes through SWshop or eBay.

I have thought about getting a few of these for my son, but he is only 8 and these are kind of expensive............
