i remember that at the time. you can compare it to the HCG one which was cast from the original.

I'll continue getting by with my cheap 1/4 NECA custom for now, until my Blitzway bust steals the show

great custom

I know, which is why I highlighted the part about Stan "changing it to look cool" which sounded wrong. Their original life size endo was the only one they got close with.

this was some comparison shots. it came out around the same time as predator and the alien queen bust. they were trying to make art pieces. they were not "props" in the normal sense. even the predator wasn't identical in terms of the teeth or dreds. and the queen had some mods. stan winston studios was designing them for sideshow, so the modificcations would be done by stan.

he dealt with CM on their endo too.

Where did that information come from? "art pieces" and similar descriptions is a common phrase for when companies can't get it accurate. Stan himself did not have anything to do with these types of pieces as far as I am aware, short of maybe seeing them for final approval and signing the check from Sideshow for use of his logo. The only licensed piece I know he really liked was the Cinemaquette T2 endo, but I don't remember it said anywhere where the studio had anything to do with actually making it.

I do like the SS look more, but if I were to get one of these Endo busts again, I think I would go with the HCG. Tough call.

I know I'm in the minority here, but the teeth are another thing I'm liking about this new Blitzway design. I understand they are not movie accurate, and they are even quite artificial looking (too perfect), but most of the busts I've seen have had something off-putting about the teeth - either the bottom teeth are too long, there's an overbite, or they just look odd/cheap/goofy.

Again, maybe not accurate to the movies, but definitely more aesthetically appealing to me in terms of the "badass" factor and something I'll be looking at every day.

I don't remember the last time I preordered something out of "hype" I'm normally quite restraint. But with reports of this selling out so quickly, combined with my regret of not buying the Blitzway arm, I guess I caved.

I think Queen Studios might have a half torso T-800 bust in the works holding a big ass pulse rifle. Now that would be epic!
