I got the the one for the Holiday Inn, but dude talk about sticker shock. 
We could stay at the Best Western in Jersey for a 1/3 of that and be in NY in 20 minutes.

Yep! That's NY! But Jersey sucks to commute! You think its 20 minutes and really isn't. The ride may be but getting to and from the train. Having to deal with schedules and carrying your stuff around all day gets old fast!

True that, but I lived in Bayonne for a while, it's not that horrible either, certainly not 400 to 600 bucks worth of horrible anyway.
I'm just a cheap bastard, and it makes no sense to over pay for a room that we're not even going to be in 2/3's of the time. I would rather take the 400 or 600 bucks and use it on art at the show, or dinner and drinks out with you guys.
Besides, someone will likely be staying in the city anyway, I'm sure we could all dump our con goodies with them and pick them up on the way back to the hotel ... if not aren't there still lockers at Grand Central we can use?

But there has to be a happier middle ground!

thought you said you were staying in the city as well. remember cause i said i was sleepin on the newly tiled kitchen at paddy's house.
you can grab ash i am sure he would like it since he has not been grabbed in a while being the condition his wife is in.
