And maybe hot shots.

I've been looking at the video footage of games like Uncharted and Resistance and they look fantastic. Whether I end up waiting or not, I'll definitely be picking up a Vita . . . I have a real affinity for handheld games (going back to the old Game & Watch's) and it just blows me away to see what there are capable of now.

always loved handheld consoles and I still have a decent collection of them so I know exactly what you mean saying it'll be hard resisting an early buy

It's funny, but I actually spend more time playing games on handheld consoles than on my PS3, 360, or Wii . . . either the 3DS, PSP or iPad have a tonne of great games combined.

I'm actually tempted to order one from playasia but I really want a 3G version and I'm not sure it will work properly here with our sim cards ?

I saw one of these in person yesterday. Much bigger screen than I thought . . . i'd seen pics and video, but hadn't released how big it actually is. Looks fantastic and can't wait to get my grubby little hands on one. I've pre-ordered the 3G version with a memory card and a copy of Uncharted

not a knock on you or anything but I just don't understand the reasoning of buying 5+ games at launch for any system. There's no way you'll ever play them all immediately anyway. Doesn't it make more sense to just grab the one or two you really want, then wait a month when it'll likely go on sale (like every other game that is released) and grab the remaining ones? Maybe its just the cheapass in me...but I'll very rarely pay full price for any game considering that 99% of games within a month or two of their release will be $20-30 cheaper at some point

Hey Pure have you heard anything about rate plans for the 3G version in Canada? I was looking at the American ones with AT&T and they were a deal braker ranging from $15 to almost $30/mo for a 3 gig plan IIRC

last I heard (link) is that the 3G version was delayed in Canada and won't be hitting until they can find a provider for it. It won't be figured out until at least April or even later than that.

I'm fine with the wifi version anyway...even though I still likely won't get the system until there is a price drop (since I'm cheap )
