That's probably it, I was looking at both, however the prices have kept me at bay. Love the sculpts but they just don't look like over $500 statues to me. $400, maybe, but not over $500.

Also that makes my last question even more odd, Kylo get's free shipping, Maul didn't but now does on the reg...very odd.

Kylo's price was even more jacked up than Maul's which probably explains all the incentives they rolled out with that one. Personally, if your doing that with any new release it's usually a sign that it's overpriced or they're not expecting demand to be very high. In the case of Kylo Ren the latter definitely wasn't the case.

Discounts should be heavy-up at the start and wind down over time.

Out-the-gate EX and reg with free shipping plus rewards bonus. Base EX on three weeks of pre-sell.

Once EX sold out move to reg with free shipping for three weeks. Post the ES.

Drop free shipping. Repeat direct buyers get free shipping extension mulligan.

I've been so disheartened by the price increases that I haven't even ordered maul yet. I think that I've decided to wait to the very last moment possible and then order it with as many points as possible and then more than likely walk away for the most part. If I can wait until August, I'll have about 300 dollars worth of pants and can pick him up on the cheap.
