Mine has a 1-2 second delay before lighting up, and is at full brightness about 2 seconds later. But both ends of the saber have the same color, if yours do not then I'd definitely ask for a replacement.

Email Sideshow and ask them about the delay and the color difference. The latter is definitely an issue IMO. Good luck.

there was no color difference but these were definitely slow starting, like they had to warm up or something. i actually thought the ex hand was broken but i left the switch on for a few seconds and it lit up

I have the same.. thought it was broken.. but it takes about 1-2 seconds .. seam to be normal as others have the same effect

Sideshow probably went cheap on the Kyber crystals.

Bought it a few years back for the original EPI Maul. MYC (over at the Freaks) is making a new, more accurate one and building an interest list.

Did anyone else get a stumpy horn on his head? Mines fully painted and shaded properly, but it isn't pointy like the other horns. Is it supposed to look like this?

thats intentional, that horn is shorter than all the others - i did a ton of research when i was sculpting my maul
