Since no one has posted the Alien: Romulus trailer, it looks like it is up to me to post it as an Alien crazed maniac

Here it is:

Looks good, i try to keep my expectations at minimum, but it is hard, Alien is one of my favorite franchaises yet again Prometheus and Alien: Covenant were not a very good enteries... I hope Alien: Romulus won't be a disappointment.

Based on that trailer, it is difficult to form an opinion. The leaping facehugger's seemed, on the leapy side.
I will watch it, as it's A L I E N

Maybe they are trying to bring in the younger peeps who haven't spent much time with the franchise? I'm not sure what this movie is bringing to the table.
To me this trailer takes away what a lot of the stress and tension by showing the facehuggers en masse. In turn, I will wait for reviews to see if there is something twist that makes me NEED to watch this.

For fun, I watched the original Alien trailer after this one. The suspense is built in the sound and imagery - which only quickly shows the "villain" of the film.

I was there in 79, so many bad iterations after ALIENS I gave up.
Not sure I can come home again anymore.

Experience is something you don't get until just after you need it.

Only a teaser and we already have a bunch of CG facehuggers hopping around. Not a great start

I want more space jockey/engineer lore and alien background, not a diverse cast of Xenomorph food. Not sure why we didn't get that after Prometheus.

I do too...Prometheus was interesting, but Alien Covenant felt like a step backwards, didn't care for it. I really wanted to see Neill Blomkamp's alien film that was to take place after Aliens and essentially ignore everything that came after, and do its own thing with Ripley and Hicks (and probably Newt as well).

I saw it in 79 at the Uptown Theater in Wash. DC w/ my Father. We went on opening day in the evening. During a scary part, a man in the audience had a heart-attack & they had to stop the movie. I remember hearing "Is there a Doctor in the house?". In it's time, Alien was groundbreaking.

Wow My dad saw Aliens in the theater 1986 and I recall my mom telling me that my dad said he was scared watching it

I went to a general store. They wouldn't let me buy anything specifically.

Covenant was awful. This has potential. They need to keep it simple.
