Hey all, well I decided to start this thread to let all you guys out there know about the calibre of some of the people around these parts.

In the last two weeks alone I have had not one, two, or three, four or five but SIX different SF members send Christmas packages to the other side of the world to a guy they know only as words on a screen or a voice on the phone. That's not to mention ANOTHER TWO who have sent stuff that is en route, and my great mate and fellow Aussie Fred Flintstone (Alex) who has been spoiling me rotten since the day I signed up

I sometimes see negative posts about the so called "myth" of friendship on boards like this and this thread is testament to the kindness and generosity that is displayed here on a regular basis, amongst genuine FRIENDS.

And I'm not simply talking about those who have sent me gifts. I also refer to guys who are always ready to take the time for a chat about the hobby we all love (you all know who you are). I'm taking this opportunity right before the season of giving to say a big THANK YOU to everyone and anyone who I have ever swapped posts with here. You all make it a place I can't help but return to on a daily basis!!

Enough! I hear you say, ON WITH THE PICS!!!!

Well firstly I got a package all the way from Topeka from my great mate Bill!! (67wm)




Then I received a package from Ash (abarron) over in the UK!! It included some artwork a Xmas card, and goodies we can't get over here!!

And then today, I got a two more packages!! This time a collaboration from Bill and his brother Mike (mwf6171)

It included a HEAP of artwork

AND

Mikey had recommended Atomic Robo to me and after my search came up short, he surprised me again with teh FCBD issues and the first TPB!! PLUS two lead figures and books of personal faves Havok and Polaris!! AND sketch cards of Nightcrawler and Deadpool!!!!

Also on the doorstep today was another box that had come all the way from The Bronx and my Mafia bro Matt!!! (Mr Kennedy)



But what was inside???



First thing Steph did was switch the lights on the Hello Kitty Stocking!!!



The joy I felt when I realized I now had my very own Yankee Championship stickers was enormous!!!!! Mate, it's funny how the smallest thing can bring so much excitement!! And we don't even HAVE Series Two of the MU figures here yet!!! Warpathhhhh!!!!

And at the bottom of the box were two shirts that were right up my alley!!!!

So just wanted to again say THANK YOU so much guys!!

There's also more pics to come with packages from Scottie (Avenger), Jesse (Jesse321), Rich (Richbamf), Mike (batcollector), Dave (JadeGiant) and Miriam (DC Universe Girl) on the way or already in the country, and I am both moved and humbled by the amazing gestures from everyone. You guys are the reason I have posted 28 thousand times in my first year here, and the reason I'll be here for years to come.

I'll add more pics when I get the gifts and post them here!
