I was intending on getting Venom, now not so sure, I'm glad I don't like Carnage at all so easy pass. Ill use points on Venom.
McFarlane head for the EX is a sold for me

I was thinking about getting Venom instead of the new Goblin when this was originally announced but after seeing the pose I thinking I'm going to go with the Goblin. He's just too bunched up for my liking.

The Macfarlane head is what I'm after for Venom but I'm glad they included the teeth and tongue head too. The more I took at it the more I like it. Can't wait to see it in person this weekend.

There's a nice Easter egg on the base, MCMLXXXVIII in Roman Numerals is 1988, the year of Venoms first appearance.

The finish/texture/lighting? Kind of looks rock-like (Rhino-like), and less oily symbiote.
I thought the texture and paint app worked on the Symbiote, but less so, here.
