I'm gonna take a stab in the dark and guess that this Venom piece was sculpted by Will Harbottle

I can see some similarities between the different scales

yeah I was just thinking to myself, if I had to design a Carnage statue what would I use for inspiration...

It probably would've looked more like XM's Venom because that thing looks almost verbatim to the Maximum Carnage SNES game box art

Very happy for those who wanted a Venom in this style. Sadly for me it's not what I was hoping for.

I don't like the toes or texture all over the body.

I was hoping for smooth, super ripped with tons of vascularity and a Todd McFarlane portrait. Basically 90's Venom.

I do like the pose.

That 2nd pic is from XM Studios right? I just think that's the definitive Venom piece out there.

The XM Venom is definitive for me. I'm not a fan of the ultra organic ripply skin texture on this piece or the CQ.
