I'm not concerned about the quality of the clear resin or the paint job, the only thing i'm concerned about is seams.
There's no way the base will ship in one piece lol so i want to see how they are handling how the pieces attach.

Same here mostly. The paint does look a bit too light to me in the latest pics though. I'd like to see more contrast between character and base. Yet, I admit I've not seen it in person. No deal breaker.

Myb its the photo but the base definitely looks more simply painted than previous photo's I've seen. the first pro to painted photos the base had a stellar looking translucent feel to it which isn't there in this last photo. also hopefully the seems aren't too bad.

I know what you're saying it seems to have lost the translucent quality, but translucent resin can be photographed in a way where it looks completely solid and i'm really hoping that its all down to photography because the base NEEDS to have that translucent effect for sure.

I don't think the base ever had a translucent resin look.  I always thought it was an opaqueish purple / gray/ white paint app.
