So there is alot I agree with you here. I think the walking forward thing is cool. I have no issue with that. The sculpt looks a little "thick" for lack of a better word. But what I really would have liked them to do would be to go all in on the Krakoa theme. We could use more X-men pieces without Sentinels in this world. That said this is a good piece and maybe some of my hesitation would be alleviated in person. But with statues prices what they are and I'm done loosing NDR's I'll be on the sidelines for this one.

IMO he looks really good if this was 2005. We've seen too many amazing sculpts for this to be considered worth the outrageous price I'm sure it will end up being.

That arm is insane, looks like Thor's arm. I still love the base and the sculpted cape.

Probably one of my least favorite Magneto statues I've seen.

Two things -

1) I'd rather spend my money on the 1/3 Legendary Beast Magneto than this if I needed a Magneto statue.
2) XM's photography continues to baffle me. It is always too dark in my opinion. Let me have a good clear picture of what you want me to preorder, XM!

My opinion has not changed at all from initial reveal.

It's a thoroughly 'ok' statue in every aspect. Nothing exceptional. Nothing awful. Certainly not worth the steep asking price. I wouldn't feel "privileged to own this". I'm not the "determined, discerning collector" XM are looking for, for this piece...

Sentinel base - ok. I don't mind Sentinels, but they are getting played out. This one though isn't damaged in an interesting way. Average.

Pose - very tame for Magneto. Several customs have outdone this. Magneto, like Spider-Man, has a handful of poses unique to him. Simple striding doesn't cut it, imo.

Costume - Opinions vary...but while the throne piece was an example of interpretation done right, this one's design choices seems arbitrary and unnecessary. It's 'overdesigned' to me, which I think frequently makes characters look video-gamey (an industry which unfortunately, overdesigns consistently).
