Never saw The SS brn in person, and has always been a vexing sculpt for me, as I really like it in some pics and not so much in others. Came real close to ordering, but never could. If you dig it, go for it, as you can possibly pick up the ex for a really good price. If you wait for XM, well that’s a different animal, who is looking killer, but at triple the price. But I still consider SS brn as a fine statue overall, and consider it on par with XM yellow/blue, which had plenty of it’s own quirks.

As for new SS Astonishing (?), well, a day 1 order for me, and never looked back, though the doubters and nit pickers did manage to get my back up. New Wolverine is as close to perfection as I could have imagined, regardless of costume preferences. May have to cut myself on them metal claws so I could blood bond with this thing. Sublime.

Yeah, very few go upward. I'd guess 10% go up from retail at this point; the rest sit at retail or below.

Now is not the time to get into the hobby if you want your statues to be a value store for your money. There are better and more space effective ways of doing that.
