WW Chicago pieces

WW Chicago was this weekend. I, again, could only make it on Sunday. But I got a piece from the artist I wanted most, so I can't be too mad.

My top priority was Ken Lashley. I went straight to his table and he told me he may not have enough time to get in anymore pieces, and he didn't want to occupy my sketchbook all day in case he couldn't get to it. After telling him he was the only guy I was there for, he said he'd make it work. Such a nice guy and he worked right up until the con closed to get this done for me. Does not go unappreciated that's for sure:

I then picked up a piece from Scott Blair that I arranged before the show. I had him do Sara Underwood as Harley Quinn and he nailed it of course:

Afterwards I grabbed a quick sketch from an artist I had never heard of before. Brian Hess was his name and I had him add to my Artist's Choice sketchbook. He chose Mary Jane:

All in all I was happy with what I got. I actually also picked up the black and white Harley Quinn statue, which is amazing! Now I can't wait til C2E2!

Can't be mad at all with those pieces. Glad Lashley was able to get your piece done.

Do you ever hope to have Sara Underwood sign your commission?

Which B&W Harley did you get (first or second)? I have her and love it! It's so perfectly Harley Quinn that it makes me smile anytime I see it.

Thanks!

I will have her sign it if she does the Wizard tour again. I did have her sign a sketch of Bustice by Todd Nauck I have tho!

And the second edition, it's the one of her blowing the smoke off the gun. I love it too!

Lashley sure was doing a great job at Wizard. Funny guy too. That Harley looks really nice - like the addition of color!
