Hope so, the reason that was given for the shipping is that much higher is that the boxes were larger then previous estimated.

And those boxes were huge on those photos that were shared.

Maybe gamble it and postpone it a bit more to save of shipping...

I got my shipping notice this morning and they did the same thing to me as well. First time it has ever happened with Prime 1

I'm glad I had Prime 1 break up my 'Last Payment Before Shipment' in 3 installments several months ago because I didn't want to get caught with that last large bill during the holidays but this surcharge was unexpected unfortunately.

That is rather strange Chavez. I've done it before as well with my Comic Harley because I had the payments suspended due to my job transition and I was able to ask them to add the final shipping amount along with my remaining monthly installments.
