They have come along leaps and bounds in their female portraits, but they are still the weakest parts of their statues. And they, sadly, fluctuate in greatness between statues when paint is added.

To use two recent pieces as examples -- Catwoman and Black Cat. Catwoman looks great and has emtion. Hair looks good. Eyes, lips, and cheeks are stunning. Then there is Black Cat. Hair looks like a rock with no movement, no color depth. Her eyes are tiny, squinty and have zero emotion.

Another trainwreck female portrait that was shown was Magdelena. HORRIBLE on almost every level.

So while I think that Grumpy is right that the expressions and hair will be different than the Green Jean, I'm with FJC that in terms of paint apps bringing life, we very well may be getting the same lackluster portraits as green Jean. It's a wait and see game.

I went to a general store. They wouldn't let me buy anything specifically.

Catwoman for me is an indicator they can give us a better looking female portrait... Just worried of its consistency with other female portraits... Like Magdalena

Yes, agree with Demona. Some are absolutely phenomenal like Catwoman while others like Elektra, Black Cat and Magdalena. Magdalena is probably one of the worst portraits I've ever seen on a female statue.

Sadly, the original versions of these portraits were great. They turned bad after xm did their tweaking. I think they like to overwork their portraits, for the worse. They also tend to do portraits that are too small.
