"What If" You Were Bitten By A Zombie?
Say you're one of the few neighborhood ('cause you've been hold-up in your attic) survivors of a zombie apocalypse and it's been a few months. You're pretty sure things have gone south and civilization, as you know it, won't be coming back anytime soon. You're all alone, no friends, no family, & you go out in the neighborhood foraging. While unwrapping a 6 month old pop-tart in a shuttered home a half mile away, the 8 year old girl who has been trapped in that house as a zombie, manages to sneak up & take a bite out of your left forarm. Of course, you re-kill her, but now you're "F"'d 'cause the zombie virus is in your veins and you figure you have around 4 hours left before you die and re-animate as a flesh craving goul.
Do you
A) Finish your poptart and make it back home to sit on your on sofa when you pop one into your head, kiling yourself.
or, do you
B) Let it just happen. "Bring It On" and let yourself succumb to the virus and join the ranks of the walking dead?

C) I go on a zombie killing spree and then when I feel that the virus is about to take over I put one into my head.

I'd go with option B). Just think of the perks. Can eat whatever (or whoever) you want, no more baths or showers, never have to wake up wandering what to wear, no work, just eating, groaning and drooling

I'd let myself succumb to the virus but I'd make sure I was far away from my family. It's not like it would be me anymore, the soul has already left the body leaving an animated rotting shell.

now are we sure about this, thats been one of my questions regarding the zombie process. do you die and move on or are you trapped in a rotting husk until the zombie corpse is destroyed.
i like to think the latter is true because it makes the whole thing all the more terrifying really, possibly still being able to see what you're doing but having no control over it, forever trapped in a rotting shell of what you once were, that to me is far scarier then just dying and watching yourself walk around from the afterlife
