First of all, would like to apologize for starting another thread...
I know I have a good week (thought a pocket burning one) when I picked up the Artgerm & Harvey pieces in Singapore last Friday, got home to Jakarta and saw the framed Granov, Bianchi & Ao..
Got to the office on Monday, Fedex shipped the one piece I've been waiting for...my first Dell'Otto piece
Ever since my buddy JMT introduced to Dell'otto comic artwork, I never knew such beautiful paintings can be found not only in the cover but also the interiors.
His style really left its mark on me when I read Sex & Violence.
Never in thoughts that I would actually own a cover from the series, let alone the #1 cover.
When I saw Alex B posted in his CAF that he might let it go, I asked about it but didn't make an offer since he wasn't sure (read: with heavy heart) to let it go.
But a month or so later, he finally changed the status to for sale, I contacted him again and after a few exchanges we settled on a deal.
Finally, yesterday this beautiful masterpiece arrived on my desk.
Still can't believe it somewhat
I apologize for the rambling, I'd like to thank my buddy JMT for making me drool over his awesome collection esp. his Dell'otto pieces
...Alex B from CAF who sold me this piece in a smooth transaction
, and also all of you guys here at SF who keep on sharing amazing artworks from your collection
