I was sceptical too about grant and Ian but thought I can't miss out on such a scene even if I don't completely like them

Yeah really, for a fan of the movie this piece is pure dream material. Can't wait to see the rest of the line.

I am sceptical about Grant, but Malcolm prototype was perfection imo.

And, for the shake of my mental sanity, a reminder to myself on how a well proportioned JP1 Rex should be:

THIS is how it was. I was waiting for the P1 rotunda but given the facts I guess this is one to choose, or the future Chronicle one.

I never even realised that this piece was actually being offered by Sideshow.

As I just saw them listed on todays email and of course on their website for preorder.

Chronicle just made a deal with IS to have SS take some orders now in addition to the ones CC already had from their site.

This has to be one of the most overpriced items I've ever seen in this hobby.

How so? The piece combined is 5 feet long. Two large scale jeeps a 1/10 scale trex and detailed base and scenery. I think you mean you can't afford it.

Yeah this thing is relatively massive:-

22.4" H (568.96mm) x 63" W (1600.2mm) x 29.5" D (749.3mm)

But value proposition is up to each individual collector, because of their particular tastes, nostalgia value and ones finances.

For what you're getting it's not too bad imo. But almost everything in this hobby is overpriced ....or so everyone seems to tell me.

You can either get this, or a 1/2 scale/legendary scale, or a couple of large footprint 1/3 scales etc, or 4 1/4 scales. I love all of them.

Do you guys think set A would work on its own? I really want this, but don’t have a lot of space and also don’t think set B is worth an extra $1k+ so I’m thinking of just getting set A.
