Resin size restrictions?

I want to cast a large piece in polyurethane resin. I know it gets hot, and the thicker the piece the hotter it gets. Would it be safe to cast a piece which is 8 inches at the thickest? The mold will be Gi-1000

use slow curing resin, it'll give off less heat

Thanks. I just read that gi-1000 is resistant up to 200 celcius, so that should be fine.
