I believe this is the case as there is a Cold War between Marvel Studio and Fox Studio. Marvel has not approved any X-Men movie figures outside of Wolverine for quite awhile.

Recently, there was a Secret Wars t-shirt found in Wal-Mart where the X-Men and Fantastic Four characters were replaced by Marvel Studio characters.

Note the removal of all Fantastic Four characters, and X-Men characters, replaced by Iron Fist, Power Man, Black Panther, Daredevil, Black Bolt and Doctor Strange – and the removal of Captain Marvel as well.

Basically taking away the non-Marvel Studios characters and a Captain Marvel who might get confused with the new Captain Marvel, and introducing characters to be seen in upcoming movies and TV shows, even if they look radically different, and won’t actually be seen on screen for years yet.

I can't believe that Olivia Munn is playing Psylocke. I remember a post I made about her poor showing on Ninja Warrior years ago. I'm not sure if she'll make a good Psylocke. She looks ok in those photos. But I'm still not impressed from what I've seen of her acting. Plus it looks like she didn't even try to get into ninja shape. No where close to Jessica Biel's look back when she was in Blade 3.

If she wasn't tied up with playing Skye in Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., I think Chloe Bennet would have been perfect as Psylocke. Not that I have a problem with Munn, but she just isn't Asian enough

I think they are both half Asian. Which is pretty good for Psylocke casting. I just want a real actress. There are a bunch of actresses that would be better. Perhaps not the look though. I think Maggie Q is a better choice.

What does "ninja shape" mean? She's lean. Plus I'm sure they'll use a stunt person for the really hard stuff like Hollywood does for most actors.

yes, I know they both have a parent who is Asian, but JMO that you wouldn't be able to tell that by looking at Munn
