It looks fantastic but isn't practical to own being that it is 18 feet long and will have a price tag in the thousands if Hot Toys actually releases it..

Gotta be. HT can't seriously believe there's a market for a 1/6 Falcon...I mean I'd love to own it, but not at the asking price it'd have to be. I also would not have a place to put it...

Is it just me or is that falcon not 18 feet long? I know 15 feet pretty well and I have a hard time believing this would fill that 15' room up. Suppose it might be the angle.

My understanding is that Hot Toys has already stated this is a display piece only, and has no intention of making this available for sale to the public. Based on the enthusiasm hopefully Hot Toys will produce something in a scale collectors can afford and display. I would like it big, but 18ft would exceed my available space, and budget.

1/18 would still be huge and expensive, but I would sell a kidney for a 6 ft falcon.

Hot Toys made The Bat from The Dark Knight Rises in 1/6 scale, then announced a 1/12 version, so it's possible they might do the same with this.

Then keep an eye out for a 3ft Master Replica Falcon. It won't cost a kidney, and in fact, I am sure there would be no surgery needed.

I have two MR Falcons, both of which I plan to use in dioramas. Thankfully I purchased them when they were selling for less than MSRP. Amazing replica but no landing gear, which limits your dio display options to in flight. Using the MR as an example, I don't know how well anything larger than 3 ft would sell. Excluding anything ridiculous though, I am always interested in a millennium falcon. 1/18 is probably me dreaming.
