2. Is $440.00 free shipping a fair price for this statue?
Going by the bay's most recent sales, it seems like a reasonable price. Looks like some even sold for $600+.

If you've got Venom and plan on getting Carnage, then more reason to take the dive!

I went to a general store. They wouldn't let me buy anything specifically.

thanks i just thought for a 1:6 scale it might of been too much money. yep already got venom super cheap and carnage super cheap preordered so i guess it balances out.

Update

Spidey,

Come on bro we need an update, no pressure though, lol. Looks great so far, this statue demands a great paint app.

lol I know, guys, I know....

If I didn't do this full time I could spend more time on personal projects^^

He's nearing completion now, maybe another full day's work then done.

I'll make sure to post pics here as soon as he's completed

i finally got this guy and i must say the videos make the metallic blue pop out but when you see it in person its not bad at all. it blends in perfect with the red. it doesn't look out of place like it does in alot of videos and pics. this statue is very weird because depending on the lighting somethings stand out and are represented differently. alot of people say the base is very detailed but in natural daylight it is extremely bland all you see is grey under lighting the details show up more. either way i will repaint him one day but not a top priority because the metallic is not bad as i thought it would be.

I have been waiting and hoping I would find this on the secondary market for around retail...ebay prices are just ridiculous most of the time.

I keep my eyes out on Craigslist, ebay, and even local shows. I think I just got very very lucky and was able to score a new one from a CL seller for retail (ie $200). He also was selling a Magneto so I jumped on both.

I feel fortunate though...I wish all us collectors could find such deals! Or at least get stuff for retail.

Oh my, you got magneto for retail as well. Wish I could be that fortunate. Congrats on picking up two fine statues.
