Many collectors had hoped that if it were to be red and purple magneto, they'd buy it. For me, I would think the opposite. I am very glad it was the white costume that XM approached with. As there are already tons of red and purple magneto out there, there is no need for another one from XM. This is unique!

I agree. Everyone moans when another Batman or Wolverine gets pumped out but when we get something truly unique people are hesitant to buy.

Truth is everyone has limited display space, as much as they would like variants and 2nd and 3rd tier characters they just don't have the display room for them...

So what happens is most collectors just get the top tier characters and if a better version of them comes out they just sell their old one and buy the new version, meanwhile all those 2nd and 3rd tier characters are collecting dust in warehouses...

XM learned their lesson when they pumped out all those Spider-Man Villains and got stuck with them, it got so bad that some stores were making you buy one of the Spider-Man villain statue in order to pre-order a more popular character... (XM themselves didn't do it but some stores that sold their stuff did)...

Companies still do less popular characters they just keep their Edition Sizes real low, so they don't get stuck with lots of inventory. It's probably one reason SS doesn't do many because they like big edition sizes in order to improve profits, that's why they stick with the big name characters most of the time and just keep remaking them...

Actually only a few spider villains sucked the rest are all sought after and disappearing in aftermarket quite nicely . I’ll take lower tier character any day than have ES of over 4000 like sideshow does which makes selling afterwards impossible without huge losses

I saw in the XM Life FB group that a few people are reporting a lean issue with White Magneto... It might just be a few that went bad but I'd keep an eye on it if you own it...

He must keep all of his Knick-knacks and paddy-whacks in those belt pouches.

I made a request to join the group a few days ago, however they've yet to approve for some reason. Do you mind sharing what the leaning issue was exactly? Was it the "X" crossbeams? This news has got me really worried honestly... white mags is one of my favorite pieces currently =( Thanks in advance..

It seems to be just one guy, here's what he wrote

Notice my magneto looked a little off this morning so I took a look into it and it seems he’s been leaning without me noticing. First image is roughly one year ago and the others from today. I think it’s just the connection from the beam to his cape because when I left him from his abdomen I notice he realigns
I added some zip-ties to see if it will keep him up. The foot image that shows his leg almost touching is from this morning the other one is what it looks like after the zip-ties so that did help a little, hopefully this works for a long term solution, I was thinking something like the hot toys stands but don’t think it will fit between his legs and be leveled on the base.
If anyone has some advice on what they think will work better I’m all ears. (Love this statue)
Also this isn’t me complaining about a company at all.
---- happens so it’s understandable but if anyone else has had this issues and found how to fit it I’m all ears.
