I agree that the EX doesn't really matter on this piece. Given the option though I'd rather have it just to add a little something extra to the statue. Since it is a pretty simple and basic statue aside from the dynamic pose. I really just wished the speed force was incorporated on the base.
The quickest way to double your money is to fold it in half and put it back in your pocket.

Barry arrived today...still would have preferred a museum pose to match up with everyone else...but overall i'm happy
statue itself is flawless
now for the long wait for J'onn J'onzz to complete the lineup
I requested a replacement. I recommend you do the same. Too much $$ to accept anything less than a problem-free piece.
I got my replacement. It fits into the base, although the body has some small paint and casting imperfections the original did not have, but small enough I would never receive anything for it. Another difference is the skin tone is way different. My original had skin much darker than the replacement, almost as if the original had a tan. I think I prefer the lighter skin tone of the replacement. So I guess you win some and you lose some.
Before I got my replacement Flash, I had to destroy the original and send them a picture as proof I destroyed it.
For those wondering how this is engineered, there is an approx 1/4 inch thick metal rod running up the leg that goes up to about 1.5 inches above the waist. The leg is very solid and withstood a lot of punishment from being hit with a hammer without breaking.

Very interesting - was wondering about what they'd done to ensure it stays upright - good to have more detail - thanks!

That’s great info. Thank for sharing. Sounds like Leaning won’t be an issue.
