You're right, Pumpkinhead did come out after Terminator/Aliens etc.
The significance being still that, this is their first monster they designed solely by themselves without the input/design change needed from any higher ups. I know they felt this creature best represented their studio, regardless of how the movie played out
I always felt Pumpkinhead is the creature that best represented Stan Winston as American Werewolf is to Rick Baker. There are bigger and better films they did but these were the smaller movies where they could do whatever they wanted.

Why people do insist in wanting the statues smaller? Come on...

The presigious comes in that it was a masterful design/execution, and ultimately crafting a creature with it's own personality. As always SWS did, it transcends the latex and rubber. That generates a huge appeal like all their creations.
And nowadays, all CGI.

Yeah - Stan & his team of creators never failed to impress. Pumpkinhead's design has stood the test of time and still remains a classic to this day.
What a combination of artistry & skills - so much well-earned respect for them

Boy I'd sure like to see a teaser of this guy if it's still in the works on coming out? I collect Alien statues & Pumpkin Head looks like he's one of the gang sorta to me at least.

1/3 is too big and too expensive.

Mods, you can change the title to 1/4. 1/3 is misleading and not correct.
