Have you looked at the Bendis oversized hardcovers? I bought the volumes with the material from the first omnibus since it was so expensive. I have the second Bendis and both Brubaker omnibi and they display ok with them.

I think they skipped a few issues in the Bendis run, and then reprinted what they missed in book 6.

Completely worth it for story...but $400 is crazy.

If you're interested in digital, Comixology has 50% off Bendis' DD. Looks like $60 for the run and it includes End of Days.

That's a legit order. The first four have been released, the rest on pre-order I'm assuming unless you have time travel figured out.

I am pretty pumped to pick up the next Brubaker Cap omnibus. I'll have all five and man they are going to look great together on the shelf.

It isn't. 'The Trial of Captain America', however, is not on pre-order, since it was released over 4 months ago.

Does anyone know if there are plans to reprint the Age of Apocalypse or Astonishing X-Men Omnibuses anytime soon? I know the Astonishing X-Men Omnibus has already had a second edition, but it has since gone out of print again...

Nothing has been announced. They're going to start putting out a new series of AoA trade paperbacks later this summer, so that probably means nothing will happen on the Omnibus front for a while.

Of all the possible reprints they could do Age of Apoc seems to be one of the more reasonable choices with the demand and the movie. However, as Kicksplode pointed out, they are printing in the large TPB format which usually means no omnibus.

I actually started a thread about this subject (likely Marvel omnibus reprints) elsewhere in the last few days.

There has been lots of speculation on what might get omnibus editions with Marvel resetting. Magneto, Storm, and the Bendis runs could all see something if internet wishes are all granted. I doubt everyone is going to get what they are asking for, but if we do see a spate of Marvel Now books I think that makes reprints less likely.

For Marvel new omnibus sales and not reprinting creates the (justified) idea that interested parties should pull the trigger on release if they don't want to miss out. It's good for sales since Marvel makes more money than if the books hang out for long periods of time and Marvel ends up discounting them (lowering their profit margin).
