After reading the second issue I feel like it was a rehashed version of House of M.
Is anyone out there digging this story? I just can't get into it and feel like I'm reading something that just doesn't matter.

I'll be picking up a select few tie-in issues, but Hickman always made the main series an easy pass

Agree. This is Remender, who makes his work an easy pass as well.

It's Hickman, not Remender. And I've enjoyed the first two issues so far. It's not a book that's likely to win you over if you're not already a fan of his work, though.

Sorry, you're correct. My mistake. Both writers are terrible in my book and I can't tell their work apart. I've not enjoyed the first two issues at all. Bored by them.

I normally can't stand Hickman's work. That being said I have not minded the 1st two issues. In the end this series will be remembered for bringing together the Marvel Universe and the Ultimate one. I think that most of what will happen over the next 6 months or so will be worthless drivel that won't matter in the end. That is why I keep talking myself out of the extra series. I am still going to try some , not as many as I thought I would. You could read the main series and be just fine with this one.

Uncanny X-men 600 is not coming out now until Secret Wars is over. So it was supposed to come out this month, now is coming out in October

i think its been interesting so far, definitely has a house of m vibe - that was the first thing I thought of when I started issue 2. ribics art is beautiful and makes reading the story worth while by itself.

you might be better off, hickman is easier to read when you don't have to wait weeks between stories - at least for me
