Are you going to be buying into the (DC) Convergence event?

Personally, I'm taking a two month break from my DC pulls until this concludes. I don't mind a 'event' but a line-wide disruption is a little much.

I'm honestly not even sure who the targets are for this event...

Those that purchase from the 'New 52' are content with the changes. Those that don't purchase from the 'New 52' will possibly pick up a few of these issues, only to go back to not purchasing once this mini is wrapped up.

Just don't see a point in this at all.

Well, I guess some of the non interested New 52 board members have an opportunity here to step it up and buy what they miss about the old DC.

I plan on getting a lot of this. For me it's a road trip back to MY DC UNIVERSE. The versions that I enjoy so for that reason and to see some old plot lines resolved I will be in feet first.

Ditto. I will follow the universe changes places like here and other comic sites. If it is really good and a game changer I will grab trades or second prints.

If it begins and ends with no consequence, like all the New 52 events to date, I will ignore it.

I predict it will cement their multiverse and open the door for original DCU stories/series to be produced concurrently with the New 52 one.

I honestly gave New 52 a chance, and wanted to love it. After a couple hundred books I can honestly say that, save Azzerello Wonder Woman, the revised versions of the characters are not nearly as compelling as their previous incarnations. (Aquaman kicked a$$ pre New 52 as well, no one really noticed or gave him a chance unfortunately)

to be totally fair, DC events have had minimal consequence so far. Marvel are the ones with zero consequence lately

Essentially, the new 52 convergence event is about reverting back to pre-new-52? Is the new-52 considered a failure? Does this include all the new costumes and personalities?
