Years ago, probably around 1990, a friend and I went to one together. The ATM, loaded wrong, was giving out $20's instead of $10's. You could pick your bills back then so he kept taking out $200 in $10's 'til he reached his $1000 max, doubling his money. I was too scared of the repercussions and took nothing out. I was told by a banker a while later that it was entirely the bank's fault and my friend would probably get in no trouble, which he never did. He just had that kind of luck.
