April Fool's Day?

Anyone get any good pranks off?

My neighbors sent around this fake letter to the whole building saying they wanted to shoot a movie in someone apartment and to call a number to express interest. My wife fell for it, and then pulled me in, now we're all excited to meet Katherine Heigl and Joan Cusack and get this walkon role in some movie. Man, we got nailed. Unreal.

April Fool's was pretty low-key this year. Not much happened.

I miss the bit where some of the comic strips would switch around for the day--like Tom Batuik would draw Garfield, and Jim Davis would draw Drabble, and so on. That was pretty funny--and I think they did it for a few years, didn't they?

I remember thos comic switches...classic.
April fools seems to be a holiday in decline. When I was a kid, we'd head off to the joke-shop days in advance to prep. Nowadays, it just comes and goes w/o a peep. Vaultman's tale gives me hope.
