There are all sorts of stats out there about how long people live after retirement, might be better to keep working if you want to keep the grim reaper at bay.

There are some poorer parts of Glasgow in Scotland where life expectancy for men is 64, may as well not even pay into a pension your whole life if you never get to draw it.

I would love to be done in the work force at around 55. I think that is a age to start chillin'. Young enough to keep up with the grandkids.

Well, my youngest will be 3 in June, so I guess I will be working as long as I am able. I will be 38 in June. Sigh....

I retired last year at 56...No grandkids...So my time is my own...and I'm loving it...

Since I teach and write, I doubt I'll retire until my 60s. No real reason to. If my writing really starts paying the bills, I might be tempted to go to half-time, but to leave teaching completely? I doubt I'll want to do that for a long time.
