Tank-Tops for Men, Women, Kids Say 'Wife Beater'

(WOMENSENEWS)--A Dallas, Tex., company is specializing in selling men's tank T-shirts emblazoned with the words, "Wife Beater," including styles for women, children and infants. The small sizes have the words "Lil Wife-Beater."

The Web site for Wife-Beater T-Shirts, http://www.wife-beaters.com/, sells the shirts for $20, and it says that convicted wife-beaters who supply proof of conviction get one at half-price with purchase of a $20 shirt. They can be customized with stains, at $1 a stain, for motor oil, blood or cigarette burns. Orders are taken at a Texas shipping company which supplies clothing and orders for other companies.

Hey, people find ways to capitalize off of popular phrases. I don't blame 'em.

That's a good idea.. may I'll create a line of beer can huggers that have the Miller Lite label and change the text to Wife Beater Ale.

the shirt saying wife beater isnt the problem thats just life. if you are offended then lock yourself in your house and hide. giving a discount to convicted spousal abusers thats messed up
